Summary
The Stewardship Specialist or Manager is responsible for the stewardship of SEALT’s 44 conservation properties. This team member will organize and execute SEALT’s annual stewardship obligations, including site visits to each property, timely reporting, and property maintenance. Additional projects are possible based on an applicant’s interests and skills.
Approximately 70% of the work will be in office/remote office conditions and 30% in the field or at community events. This position supervises a team of volunteers, may have supervision of another staff member depending on experience, and reports to the Executive Director. The Southeast Alaska Land Trust team is a small group of conservation professionals who collaborate and support one another in projects across the region.

Qualifications
SEALT is hiring a stewardship professional at the Specialist or Manager level. A Specialist will have experience in field work and an understanding of property management. A Manager will also be capable of developing management plans and baseline documentation, as well as independently managing projects, volunteers, and a direct report staff member.
