Through advanced technology and engineering expertise, we create seamless integrations with shippers, vendors, and 3rd party carrier integration platforms to optimize delivery efficiency.Who we’re seeking?We are seeking a Sr. Programs Manager with strong analytical skills and a passion for streamlining the customer’s shipping experience. You will serve as a key leader in our External System Integrations (ESI) team, driving the adoption of API-based features, improving the current processes, and enhancing the overall shipper and developer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives on ambiguity and can navigate complex business and technical challenges.Key job responsibilities
– Identify process gaps and implement improvements across the integration lifecycle, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance the shipper and developer experience.– Drive adoption of API-based features with 3rd party partners, collaborating with Product, Commercial, and Partnership teams to identify high-impact features and create rollout strategies.– Streamline support processes for API-based shippers and integrators, overseeing post-integration support, identifying recurring issues, and implementing solutions to improve resolution efficiency.– Lead defect/error rate reduction projects, identifying core teams to address root causes, and working with Solution Architects and technical teams to implement strategies that enhance overall system reliability.– Manage integration-impacting projects with partner teams like Spectrum, overseeing implementation of new authentication methods and simplifying developer onboarding processes.– Oversee cross-functional program and build Go-To-Market strategy, ensuring successful delivery while meeting business objectives and technical requirements.– Influence integration product development by capturing user feedback to drive API roadmaps, prioritizing new features, and participating in the development of new API offerings to expand SWA’s capabilities.– Manage stakeholder relationships by regularly communicating integration performance, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives to senior managers and business leaders.– Develop KPIs for integration success and API adoption, produce regular performance reports, and use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and prioritize integration initiatives.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– 7+ years of experience in program management, or similar roles, with a track record of successfully driving cross-functional projects at scale.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
– Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
– Experience with API product development lifecycle and developer ecosystems, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or shipping industry, including driving adoption strategies and measuring success through KPIs.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
