LMI is seeking a skilled Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst to support our federal customer.

Responsibilities
Duties shall include the provision of full-time analytical, cartographic and data management support to produce geospatial products involving a high degree of complexity.
Perform data conversion, migration, and exploitation activities using advanced processing techniques.
Assist with project planning, requirements analysis, database design, database development, Application coding and testing, quality assurance and quality control.
Apply complex analytical techniques to disparate data resources to identify previously unrecognized patterns and trends.
Integrates and configures spatial data with ancillary data and determines the best method for data display.
Develops and captures metadata for geospatial data, applications, and products.
Produce high-quality hardcopy and digital maps.
Possesses working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS desktop and enterprise software.
Qualifications
Eight (8) years of experience in GIS of which two years were of direct analytical experience.
Experience to include generating complex multi-layered printed, digital and web- based maps, creating and modifying template-based GIS web applications, and performing complex geospatial analyses.
Knowledgeable in GIS and geospatial technologies, best practices, and concepts, and have experience applying these principles to law enforcement, immigration, and/or border enforcement.
Proficient with spatial data and relational database maintenance and manipulation including Esri Spatial Database Engine (SDE).
Experience utilizing aerial and satellite imagery and performing image processing, analysis, and exploitation.
Experience in the development of GIS applications and tools.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical computer users, both orally and in writing.
Experience working with law enforcement systems and Esri ArcGIS Pro desktop software.
education: BS/BA in GIS, Geography, Cartography, or other related field that includes enough coursework in GIS and related subjects to constitute a major in GIS.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a DHS Background Investigation
