This is a technical role that requires knowledge of EDI and B2B Trading Partner Management, Mapping, and Communication. The Sr. EDI/B2B Technical Lead position supports.

  • Solutions for EDI and B2B integrations.
  • Developing EDI and B2B connections between SAP ECC partner applications and S4 HANA.
  • Consulting with Collins staff regarding EDI and B2B best practices and standards.
  • Maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting the EDI / B2B applications.

What YOU will do:

  • Lead strategic EDI/B2B integrations and develop the future road map for EDI/B2B Applications.
  • Develop process improvements on how to architect EDI/B2B solutions for current state SAP ECC and future state S4 HANA.
  • Consolidate application footprint to simplify the portfolio.
  • Lead without authority the EDI/B2B technical team.
  • Setting up and testing Inbound & Outbound EDI trading partners.
  • Creating maps for EDI, XML, Flat file transactions.
  • Coordinating with trading partners to maintain effective EDI relationships.
  • Monitoring inbound and outbound EDI activity in the SAP production System.
  • Processing and monitoring Inbound and Outbound documents (Purchase Orders, Advance Ship Notices, Invoicing, 997 Functional Acknowledgement, etc) and associated software.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for maps and process flows.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Experience with EDI, B2B system integrations.
  • Experience with using Sterling B2Bi
  • Mapping & transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of EDI Messages, X12, EDIFACT, XML.
  • Understanding of SAP ECC Netweaver technologies, i.e. IDOCs, partner profiles, tRFCs, SAP ALE.
  • Experience working with SAP Parser files.
  • Knowledge of communication, authentication and authorization protocols used for AS2, SFTP, MFT, PGP, SSH.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly, even under pressure.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Proficiency with OpenText BIZManager and BIZMapper.
  • Experience with encryption and certificates
  • Experience working with Value Added Networks (VAN)
  • Supply chain experience with large aerospace OEMs
  • Understanding of DNS, TCP / IP protocols, clustering, load balancing, firewalls
  • Highly analytical and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of Azure DevOps, pipelines, and deployment.
  • Relevant technical certifications a plus.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD – 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
