About the Role:
We are leading the banking industry into its AI-enabled era by leveraging cutting-edge technology and deep industry knowledge. This role requires a solid understanding of the banking industry, expertise in AI/ML technologies, and the ability to incorporate AI into banking processes effectively.
Expertise Required:
• Deep knowledge of the banking industry and its processes.
• AI/ML model development, deployment, and management.
• AI application development and project management.
• Understanding use case implications of AI.
• Conducting AI vendor solution comparisons.
What You Will Do:
• Create high-quality, actionable research content focused on AI in financial services, covering strategy, business value, best practices, market trends, technologies, and vendors for CIOs and product leaders.
• Produce innovative, analytically-deep, fact-based research on the AI landscape in financial services.
• Serve as a leading authority on financial services AI and advanced analytics, including understanding AI use cases, scaling AI initiatives, and governing AI tools.
• Provide in-depth analysis and advice on AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, and Data Science for CIOs, focusing on strategy, technologies, and market trends.
• Stay updated on trends in artificial intelligence and data analytics in financial services.
• Offer actionable AI-centric advice to clients through virtual and face-to-face interactions.
• Advise on how AI technologies and practices are shaping the financial services function.
• Develop and deliver presentation materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings.
• Build your brand as a functional expert to drive Gartner’s research and strategy.
• Provide mentorship, support, and peer review within the research team.
• Actively contribute to innovation and collaboration in the analytics & AI research community.
What You Will Need:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• 12+ years’ experience in financial services AI topics with increasing responsibility.
• Experience deploying advanced analytics for decision-making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical and presentation capabilities.
• Experience with AI/ML forecasting, quantitative analytics, statistics, and coding languages (Python preferred).
• Willingness to travel occasionally, though the role is primarily virtual.
