OverviewJob Summary: Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in REST API development with C#, proficiency in the .NET framework, .NET Core, Git Repo/VSTS, micro services architecture, and front-end technologies such as Angular or React is required. The Senior Developer will play a key role in creating, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, as well as leading and mentoring a team of developers.Please note additional position details below:

  • This is a Temp-To-Hire, W-2 position. We are not able to do 1099 or C2C.
  • It is a hybrid role that will need to be based in the U.S.
  • You must meet our U.S. Eligibility requirements for work authorization as noted under “Additional Information” at the bottom of the job description.

How you’ll make an impactKey Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C#, .NET framework, and .NET Core.
  • Use Azure technologies for cloud-based application development and deployment.
  • Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
  • Apply strong OOP principles to design and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
  • Work with multi-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Implement front-end components using Angular or React to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Manage source code using Git Repo/VSTS and follow best practices for version control.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high performance and reliability of applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and practices.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

About YouQualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on REST API development using C#, .NET framework, and .NET Core.
  • Good experience with Azure technologies, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • In-depth understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
  • Design and develop micro services architecture to support scalable and modular applications.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
  • Proficiency in using Git Repo/VSTS for source control and version management.
  • Experience with IIS configuration and management.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
