We are dedicated to local talent as well as to the community, and we partner with many local nonprofits on fundraisers, special events, and promotions. Our cafe also serves as a gallery showcasing local artists. In addition, we provide catering services for parties big or small, so think of us for your next special event!Candidate summary: The ideal candidate has a guest-first mentality and a love for hospitality. Job title:

• Cafe & Catering Manager

Compensation and benefits:

• $20-24 hourly + commission
• $600-1000 average weekly take-home range
• Paid Weekly

• 30-45 hours weekly
• Mostly days and some evenings

Language requirements:

• English

Must have experience:

• 2+ years of previous event management experience in a high-volume cafe or casual restaurant
• 2+ years of previous food & beverage experience in a high-volume cafe or casual restaurant
• P & L management (maintaining food costs, maximizing profitability)
• Staff training and motivation
• Food and Beverage safety knowledge (Serve Safe certification)
• Managing events
• Staff scheduling (monitor daily to ensure appropriate staffing levels to maintain customer service levels)
• Managing 5-10 people
