Location: Glasgow covering ScotlandEmtec Fire Systems part of the Sauter group of companies is a leading sprinkler installation and maintenance company, providing high-quality, innovative solutions across the UK. We are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of fire safety and compliance in all our projects.Emtec Fire Systems is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Installation Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems on commercial, industrial, and residential projects throughout Scotland. This role involves managing a team of sprinkler fitters, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, project specifications and coordinating with other trades and contractors.The Role

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of sprinkler fitters.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign daily work tasks.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and safety training
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
  • Interpret design drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure compliance with design and installation standards.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, reports, and documentation.
  • Manage material orders, inventory, and equipment needs for the project.
  • Oversee the installation and testing of fire sprinkler systems, including piping, valves, and associated equipment.
  • Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Conduct safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in fire sprinkler system installation, with experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Proficient in using industry-specific tools, equipment, and software.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
