We are passionate about rewarding excellence and helping people to grow, both personally and professionally, during their time with us.If you are looking for opportunities within a progressive, innovative, and nurturing organisation; and have the energy, passion, and commitment to deliver excellence, we would love to hear from you.We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Production Operative within our growing Spray Shed Team.In a nutshell you will be responsible for:You are required to either spray engobe undercoat or glaze paint on to the sinks, or support in the movement process around the area to the highest of standards. They will then be sent onto the kilns department. You are then required to finish off the process by coating the sinks in paint, taking pride in what you do.What you are already great at:
- Detailed inspection of sink prior to spraying.
- Make sure all checks are completed and all relevant paperwork is filled in as required.
- All equipment to be placed back in their designated zones at the end of each shift.
- Barrels to be returned to glaze room and area left clean and tidy for next day.
- Adhering to health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines always.
- Ensuring correct PPE is always worn.
- Always follow SOP standards as trained.
- Striving to do your best to achieve targets set for your area.
- Ensuring that housekeeping standards are always met through regular cleaning of the area.
- Communicating any material defects, unsafe practices, or equipment to the Departmental team Leader.
- Understanding the process, they are responsible for, and the impact of its failures.
- Being willing to undertake training to develop in role and improve performance across other departments.
For this role we would need you to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a similar role and happiest in a fast paced environment
- Proven experience in delivering data driven solutions
- Excellent at multi tasking and working with competing priorities
- Technical understanding of computer programming and application development
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated project management skills, adherence to timelines, stakeholder communication
- Knowledge of Windows based systems and MS Office Suite
