We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our client’s team, near Clifton Park, NY, and play a vital role in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to customers.Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer will include:

• Act as a trusted technology advisor for both prospective and existing customers, fostering long-term relationships.
• Analyze customer requirements, recommend solutions, and clearly communicate their value propositions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more of the following areas: network solutions, storage, servers, security, and Cloud technologies.
• Support the sales process within an assigned territory by responding to RFPs, creating cost-effective designs, and developing bills of materials.
• Collaborate with implementation teams, providing technical knowledge transfer and training as needed.
• Stay informed about the company’s products and services, as well as emerging technologies in the market.
• Deliver impactful presentations tailored to audiences ranging from technical staff to senior management.

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Sales Engineer:

• BA in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Information Security preferred. Candidates with an AS degree and relevant technology certifications (networking, storage, security, or virtualization) will also be considered.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to company standards and processes.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with technologies related to networks, servers, storage, security, and Cloud solutions.
