Software Engineer – JavaScript & PythonLocation: Remote (UK)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000Better Placed Technology is partnering with a Microsoft-backed, Silicon Valley-based stealth business to build out their UK team. Led by industry experts, this innovative company is pioneering technologies that are transforming the AI space. While this role is fully remote, there may be occasional travel to Silicon Valley (1-2 times per year) for collaboration.About the Role:
As a key UK hire, you’ll be developing synthetic data tools, working with Large Language Models (LLMs), integrating APIs, and building products for enterprise customers.Key Requirements:Proficiency in Python; experience with PyTorch is advantageousStrong JavaScript skills, including React, Next.js, and Node.jsFull-stack development experienceExperience working with APIs and integrating third-party servicesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain synthetic data tools for AI model training and evaluationWork with LLMs, contributing to their improvement and deploymentIntegrate various APIs to expand product functionalityBuild and optimise enterprise products for performance and reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutionsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with synthetic data generationFamiliarity with LLMs and their applicationsPrevious experience working with enterprise clientsFor a confidential discussion and to apply, please submit an up-to-date CV detailing relevant experience.
