Candidate eXperience Technology (CXT) team is a part of an organization building the systems used by recruiters to help Amazon scale its hiring processes. We build services that will be the foundation for future hiring systems, and accelerate the replacement of legacy recruiting systems.As a member of the team, you will be instrumental to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing and operations. – Work through all phases of project lifecycles.
– Review requirements and design services that lay the foundation for the new technology platform.
– Build new interfaces and integrate with existing architectures, developing and testing code, and delivering seamless implementations for Global customers.
– Design and code technical solutions in tools such as Java, HTML/CSS, and Javascript/React to deliver value to customers.
– Deeply understand and work with variety of developer tools across the spectrum of Software development lifecycle.
– Build iteratively using agile methodologies.A day in the life

– 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
