Job Type: PermanentOur client, in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java and SQL. They are looking for a Software Engineer takes ownership, and requires minimal supervision. This role involves hands-on experience in fixing bugs, troubleshooting issues and resolving tickets.Description:– Analyze business needs to plan, design, develop, and maintain web applications, enhancing operational efficiency and reporting tools.
– Perform complex data processing, data manipulation from multiple sources (SQL, csv, txt, Excel, etc.).
– Develop custom programming for data-driven projects using SQL Server & MS Access, custom programming to prepare clean data for mail & email campaigns.
– Develop, test, and troubleshoot Java and SQL based applications and EDI systems, applying agile methodology for software development.
– Identify and resolve technical issues in applications, provide support for JDE trouble tickets, and maintain existing programs with modifications as needed.
