Are you a Site Engineer with a strong background in roadworks and civil infrastructure? We’re hiring for a freelance position on a live project in Suffolk with a leading civil engineering contractor renowned for delivering complex infrastructure schemes across energy, rail, highways, and utilities.This role is ideal for someone confident with setting out, drainage, ducting, kerbs, and surfacing, and who can hit the ground running on a fast-paced job. This is a great opportunity to join a committed site team on a professionally run project with a strong pipeline of work.What You’ll Be Doing:

• Setting out for road construction, kerbs, drainage, and ducting
• Conducting site surveys and managing as-builts
• Working closely with the site team to ensure smooth delivery
• Maintaining quality standards and assisting with ITPs
• Ensuring compliance with design drawings and specifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid experience in civil engineering and highways projects
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Own setting-out kit and laptop (preferred but not essential)
