Our client is seeking a Site Engineer in Offaly for their new long-term residential project based in the Midlands. This full-time, permanent role offers excellent opportunities for career advancement for candidates with relevant experience.Responsibilities * Setting Out Works: Accurately establish and set out works, ensuring all foremen and operatives understand project requirements.

• Communication: Interpret and communicate key details from drawings, specifications, and plans to foremen, operatives, and subcontractors.
• Material Testing: Perform material testing as instructed by your supervisor/line manager, ensuring compliance with relevant specifications.
• Daily Records: Maintain a detailed site diary, documenting activities, key events, and progress.
• Progress Reporting: Monitor project progress, including subcontractor performance, and report findings to your manager.
• Health & Safety: Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and is conducted safely.
• Professional Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Profitability: Enhance project profitability through self-management, precision, and minimizing re-work.
• Meetings & Directives: Attend project meetings and follow through on directives as required.

Requirements

• Education: Relevant Engineering degree.
• Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience, ideally as a Setting Out Engineer on large-scale civil projects.
• Background in Civil & Construction projects is highly preferred.
• Skills:

• Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team.
• Strong multitasking capabilities with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs.
• Effective under deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
