We are currently looking for Sheet Metal Apprentices (1st. – 4th. Year) and Journeymen to join our team!What’s In It For You

*Read engineering and architectural drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed, and lay out, measure and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates
*Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment
*Fit and join sheet metal parts using welding and similar equipment to fabricate products such as ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, air and heat ducts, and material handling systems*Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
*Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces
*Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications
*Perform other duties as requiredRequired Skills and Abilities
*Ability to show up to work on time everyday
*Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
*Ability to learn on the job
*Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
*Ability to take orders and instructions
*To be in good physical condition
*A mechanical aptitude
*Ability to lift in excess of 25 kilograms
*Eye-hand coordination, spatial and form perception, good eyesight and manual dexterity
*Ability to visualize a finished product from a drawing
*Ability to stand for long periods, do some moderately heavy lifting and carrying, and work in high, awkward and noisy places
*Patience, dependability and accuracy
*Ability to work in a construction or shop environmentRequired Experience
*Sheet Metal schooling and applicable hours for accreditation
*Apprentice Experience or Journeyman Certificate
