Now in partnership with North America’s largest automotive retailer, Lithia and Driveway, it’s your chance to work for a Fortune 500 company and grow with us!As a Service Manager, you will provide top-notch customer service, ensure the service department is running smoothly, and focus on establishing customer focused service standards.If you have strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service – join us as a Service Manager and become an essential part of our team!Duties and ResponsibilitiesForecast sales, gross, and key expenses; prepare and manage annual operating budget.Hire, train, motivate, and monitor service staff performance; ensure effective communication.Develop and implement performance standards, marketing plans, and recruitment activities.Ensure customer satisfaction, handle complaints, and comply with regulations and warranty policies.Monitor service quality, parts orders, and maintain tools, equipment, and customer files.Manage service area finances, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality.Skills and Qualifications5-7 years of progressive experience in a service department, including 3 years in a supervisory role.University degree or college diploma in business administration.Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean driving abstract; ability to drive a manual transmission.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Outlook; ADP experience required.Advanced knowledge of technical repairs, manufacturer warranty policies, and Provincial Safety Standards.Excellent leadership, management, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work effectively under pressure.Ability to build a customer-focused team and maintain confidentiality of data.Fluent in verbal and written English communication.Why Work For Pfaff?Competitive Compensation – whether you are working in sales, service, parts, or in a support function, Pfaff offers a competitive compensation package.Health Benefits – full-time employees have access to health, dental, long-term disability and life insurance.Vacation and Paid Time Off – in addition to vacation, you are eligible for personal days and are also given the opportunity to purchase PTO (paid time off) days.
