Find out how you can make a difference at Siemens Gamesa: .How to contribute to our visionDo you want to contribute to the ongoing battle against climate change, and really make a difference?If so, we would love to hear from you!We are looking for Service Technician to join the team with the view to progress to Maintenance Technician and then Troubleshooter Technician level at our Lynn and Inner Dowsing site in Grimsby, UK.As a Service Technician you will perform troubleshooting, maintenance and inspections on the customers wind turbine sites.This is an opportunity to be a part of a growing team within a dynamic business, delivering innovation to the renewable energy.Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:Electrical/Mechanical scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on the sites 54 x G4 wind turbine generatorsCoordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipmentAssisting the team in the completion contractual extra scopes including TMSE (Statutory inspections of crane and lifts and fall arrest equipment), Crane and Lift inspection and maintenanceEnsure compliance with Siemens Gamesa standards and UK legislation in relation to Environment Health & Safety (EHS), Quality and Service deliverySupport for the welfare of technicians whilst on site and escalation of any issues relating to PPE, transportation and equipmentProvide accurate reporting into and utilization of MORS database and other electronic workflow systemsSupervising the SGRE (Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy) team members, 3rd party technicians, contractors and sub-contractors for various required scope deliveryWhat you need to make a differencePassion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
