Service Sales Management Manager

Overview

Are you a strategic, growth-driven sales leader with a passion for advancing critical infrastructure markets? Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Service Sales Management Manager to lead our Service Center Division (SCD) service sales organization. In this high-impact role, you will shape national sales strategy, guide a high-performance team, and drive long-term growth in data centers, utilities, and other essential power sectors.


What You’ll Do

Lead Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement national service sales strategies that support annual and long-term SCD growth objectives.
  • Align regional sales plans with division business goals, ensuring consistent execution nationwide.
  • Lead all SCD service sales activities, including forecasting, goal setting, and performance tracking.
  • Drive accountability to meet sales targets and key performance indicators.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and direct service sales staff in alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance reviews, support salary recommendations, and oversee hiring activities.
  • Develop employees through training, cross-training, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage staffing plans and budgets to support division growth.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations.
  • Represent SCD at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Support contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
  • Promote MEPPI’s positive, professional image through effective customer engagement.

Market Intelligence & Collaboration

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback to product and service development teams to help shape future offerings.
  • Partner with internal MEPPI divisions and affiliates to leverage synergies and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Champion the adoption and effective use of CRM systems and software-based sales tools to enable accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making.

What You Bring

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience selling power quality products or services.
  • 3+ years of experience managing manufacturer reps, resellers, distributors, and direct reports.

Skills & Expertise

  • Advanced leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
