Do you want to work with a dynamic, supportive and friendly team?We are currently transforming our clinical pharmacy service across NHS Fife, as an integrated pharmacy service across hospital, primary care and specialist teams. The aim is to join up care for our patients across transitions of care and ensure the best outcomes for patients with their medicines.Two opportunities have arisen for experienced pharmacy technicians registered with the GPhC with proven post qualification experience to join our integrated pharmacy team, working across Fife as part of the community health clinical pharmacy team.There are two posts 1 fixed term and 1 permanent which will be based based across community health this will involve working across a range of hospital settings including Acute Services, Community Hospitals and Hospital at Home. You will undertake a key role in continuing the provision of a safe, effective pharmacy service to all community health settings which will support a smooth transition of care over multiple sites. You will undertake a key role in supporting patient flow across the interface which will contribute to the timely and safe provision of medicines for inpatient care, discharges and transfer of care.Both roles will involve travelling across Fife to cover other community hospitals out with your base locations. You will also have sessions to enable you to maintain your checking qualification.You must be able to work independently or as part of the pharmacy team and wider multidisciplinary team. You will be an excellent communicator who has the ability to build good relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals. You should have experience of working in a clinical environment and managing staff.Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. Your offer/contract of employment will therefore reflect the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
