As a Senior Treasury Operations Officer, you will be contributing to a fast moving and highly proactive team. Treasury Operations sits within the Finance Function and plays a critical role in supporting the activities of not only the Treasury team, but also the wider Society.Treasury is responsible for a wide range of activities that support the funding, liquidity and Hedging requirements of Nationwide. As part of Treasury Operations, you will play a key role in the confirmation and settlement of this activity together with the management of both cash and collateral. You will work closely with other teams within Treasury including Front and Middle Office.At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. You can also find out more about our approach to .If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.What you’ll be doingReporting into a Senior Operations Lead, you will be joining a wider team of 14 covering a range of mission critical operational tasks:

• Confirmation and settlement of trading activity across multiple products and markets including but not limited to: Fixed Deposits, Foreign Exchange, Bond and Repo Securities, Swaps and Collateral movements for Margining.
• Intraday management of our cash positions and monitoring of cash and custody accounts across multiple providers.
• You will play a key role in supporting change activity, this may include how we best utilise our core operating platform, Murex, and includes delivering process efficiencies for tasks outside of Murex.
• You will need to manage your time effectively, prioritise work and juggle competing demands.
• The role will provide exposure to multiple disciplines, so as well as offering a position that is varied, it also provides a great opportunity to further your career development.

About youWe’re looking for someone with the following skills, experience and knowledge:

• Have a good working knowledge of the financial services industry and an awareness of Treasury products.
• Experience in a fast-moving Treasury Operations environment with strong time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, in particular, handling data – relating to trades and transactions.
• Have a history of implementing process improvements and streamlining.
• Excellent communications with the ability to adapt to varying audiences, both internal and external.
