In this role, you will provide strategic and scientific leadership for all toxicology-related activities.You willcollaborate with a team of toxicologistsoverseeingsafety evaluations, guidingregulatory submissions, ensuringcompliance with global standards, and reviewing,interpreting, andanticipatinglegislative and regulatory changesimpactingourcritical chemistries. Yourexpertisewill influenceKoch Companyproduct development decisions, regulatory strategies, and industry bestpractices,directly contributing to the protection of public health and the environment.

What You Will Do
- Leaposition:=”” background-repeat:=”” repeat-x border-bottom:=”” solid=”” transparent>d the evaluation ofdraft legislative andregulatorychangesand regulatory documents, such asEPA risk evaluations,FDAassessmentsand frameworks, etc.
- Reviewregulatory evaluationsand primary literature,evaluate howevidence is integrated and interpreted,understandhow evidence is used in decision making, and coordinate withcompany representatives to evaluate andcommunicate potential impact
- Collaborate witha teamof toxicologiststhatinterpret toxicology studies(including in vitro, in vivo, and computational approaches);advise companies on hazard, risk, communication, and labeling;andadvise on safetytopics related toclaims and customer complaints
- Whenappropriate,advise onlaboratory testing ofproducts and raw materials,ensure adherence to OECD and other relevant guidelines, andadvise onstudy design, limitations, and interpretation of results
- Serve as the trusted toxicology authority for regulatory submissionsand communications withagencies such as the FDA, EPA,andECHA
- Collaborate with R&D,thebusiness,and ourregulatoryteamto integrate safety assessments early in the innovation process
- Represent the organizationwiththird-party research organizations, outside counsel,industry working groupsand trade associations to develop points of view, advocacy strategy, and communication materials
- Monitor emerging toxicology trends, alternative testing methods, and evolving regulatory requirements
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Ph.D.or equivalentin Toxicology, Pharmacology, or a related life sciences discipline
- Mid- career professional that has demonstratedexpertiseinintegrating andinterpreting toxicology studies for regulatory purposes
- Strong knowledge ofrisk assessment and regulatoryguidelinesforEPA,FDA,and other applicableagencies
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to combine strategic oversight with hands-on scientific involvementand to provide meaningful technical input to Koch businesses,legal teams,andR&D teams
- Strongleadershipskills with a focus oncreativity, motivation,and ability toleveragea team of toxicologists to support multiple product lines and capabilities in various regulatory markets
- Strong capacity tobuildrelationships withkey stakeholdersinternaland externalto Koch
- Ability to incorporate technology into our processes with a view tocreating efficiencies andvalue for Koch Companies
What Will Put You Ahead
- experience in chemical or consumer products industries
- DABT or ERT certification
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity
- Experience working on cross-functional teams and/or trade associations on key regulatory initiatives, including providing public comment on rulemakings and participating in advocacy efforts
