Catalent is looking for a Senior Scientist to join our Swindon manufacturing site. This role is responsible for developing safe, compliant, robust and efficient products for commercialisation. Working closely with the formulation team you will ensure that early-stage development products are capable of meeting the rigorous of commercialisation.Catalent Pharma Solutions Swindon is the home of the Zydis Technology. With more than 20 products launched in 60 countries, it continues to be the world’s best-in-class ODT technology.Catalent, Inc. is a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) whose mission is to develop, manufacture, and supply products that help people live better and healthier lives.The role:To conduct appropriate product development activities to allow a robust process within the product knowledge space to be developed.To create process design specifications and conduct appropriate studies to establish and demonstrate that the process meets its pre-determined processing specification.To provide technical support during the validation of products to achieve right first-time introduction.To provide technical expertise and be proactive in resolving process problems and continuously improve the process.To design and execute experimental protocols to maximise process understanding.Ensure new/existing equipment is capable, robust and safe, meeting the requirements of regulatory bodies.The candidate:A degree level or higher in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, engineering or physical sciences desirableProven experience in product development and/or technology transfer and manufacturing environmentExperience in manufacturing, product development and/or pharmaceutical or life science industryExperience with design of experiments and statistical analysis an advantageExcellent organization and communication skills with customers, quality and cross functional teamsStrong ability to write clear, concise reports and memos to a high technical standard and make effective presentations at all organisational levelsAbility to resolve technical problemsRight first time mindsetOrganised and methodicalWhy you should join Catalent:Competitive SalaryPensionHoliday EntitlementWe have been made aware of potential inaccurate job advertisements on third-party websites.
