As a Senior Software Engineer you will bring a high level of experience to the team and take a lead in designing new features and components, as well as helping define the long-term technical direction of the products.Lead development of the InSight PACS Viewer applicationDevelop software according to the Intelerad SDLC processParticipate in design and code reviews;Help define the technical architecture usedChampion the use of automated tools for testing and validationMentor other members of the teamManage deliverables according to approved project plansParticipate in code maintenance, bug fixes, and various cross-functional roles with quality assuranceWork with application specialists to understand and define the behaviour of new or updated features.Interaction with other teams for implementation of features and handling of support queriesStay current with developments in your discipline and share with the team your knowledge and promote opportunities for growth and improvementOther duties as requiredQualificationsRequiredExpert in developing on Windows platform using C# and WPF or other XAML-based technology (8+ years)Thorough understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID principlesTDD / Unit Testing – we currently use NUnit with JuckMock and FluentAssertionsDemonstrated ability to read and interpret technical informationDemonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical written communicationBonus:C++, including C++/CLIExperience developing web-based applications using JavaScript and/or TypeScript, SCSS, React, WebPackSQL, preferably with PostgreSQL or SybaseFamiliarity with industry standards such as DICOM and HL7BSc/BEng (or higher) in Computer Science or similar disciplineChartered Engineer or Chartered IT Professional (BCS)Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.All applicants meeting minimum qualifications will be required to complete a 30 minute online assessment as part of your application.Intelerad is committed to the principles of equal employment.
