Senior Software Developer – £70,000 – £80,000 | Remote-first with occasional office time in West YorkshireA fast growing professional services firm is hiring a Senior Software Developer to lead hands-on development and drive technical delivery across web and cloud-based platforms. You’ll report into the Software Engineering Manager and help mentor a small but capable .NET team.If you want a role that blends engineering, mentoring, modern tech, and empowers you to influence architecture and processes, this could be for you.What’s exciting about this?

• You’ll lead from the front; designing, coding, and delivering modern .NET apps in a cloud-native environment
• You’ll line manage the dev team and mentor across best practices, delivery and modern development standards
• You’ll shape the evolution of a product suite that’s moving toward Azure-native, microservice-style architecture
• You’ll take ownership of security, scalability, performance, and delivery quality across multiple workstreams

Tech stack and environment:

• .NET 8, C#, Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS
• Azure (cloud-native apps, pipelines, ARM, Functions, DevOps CI/CD)
• SQL, Entity Framework, RESTful APIs
• Agile, DevOps, secure-by-design practices

What you’ll bring:

• A strong background in .NET engineering, ideally with 5+ years in commercial delivery
• Experience working across front and back end with Angular, C# and Azure
• Proven Senior developer: mentoring and setting coding standards
• Solid grasp of API design, cloud architecture, and CI/CD pipeline tooling
• Ability to steer best practice, lead from the front, and improve quality across the stack
