Working in the Business Support area of Nationwide’s arrears management function, Collections & Recoveries, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to progress their career within the Secured Strategy team on a permanent basis.The role will focus on enhancing the team’s insight into the delinquent portfolios for all products that support the department’s vision to “Deliver best in class Collections and Recoveries performance through great customer service, via inspired people in a flexible and cost-efficient manner with the agility to adapt to changing business needs”.At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. Under the guidance of the Senior Strategy Manager (Secured), you will be responsible for:Leading the design and delivery of high quality, insightful and informative strategy reports/packs for senior committees across the society, that will enable understanding of performance and, drive and promote strategic decision making across relevant business areas.You will carry out analysis and report your findings on performance in key activities in comparisons to industry peers. You will undertake a proactive role on a portfolio of complex and concurrent activities end to end and liaise with the relevant management teams and business stakeholders to broaden knowledge and understanding of the Collections & Recoveries landscape to provide an optimal solution to any risks and associated issues that arise.You will also look to carry out root cause analysis to provide insight and feedback into future lending decisions, whilst proactively sharing knowledge and experience through coaching and development of other Strategy Analysts in the department.You will also be required to deputise for the Senior Strategy Managers across Secured and Unsecured.About you

• Have experience maximising success through strategy development within a Collections environment.
• Have experience and knowledge of the relevant regulatory and legislative frameworks (MCOB, CONC).
• Have experience of developing proposals and executing plans to challenging deadlines within a Collections and Recoveries environment.
• Strong data analytical skills.
• Experience of data analysis.
• Have first class relationship building skills and the confidence to communicate at every level.
• Ability to work at pace to a consistent high standard.
• Have a detailed knowledge of working with mortgages
