If you are you an experienced Property Insurance Claims Handler / Adjuster who is looking for their next step in their career, please get in touch.Property Claims Adjuster – Key dutiesYou will be responsible for reviewing insurance policies, investigating claims, and liaising with policyholders, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that claims are resolved efficiently and effectively. You will also negotiate settlements and manage the claims process from start to finish, ensuring that all parties are kept always informed of progress.You will be part of a supportive, hard-working team who will help guide you through your personal and professional growth within the company who pride themselves on collaboration and communication to be a successful team. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.Work closely with clients, customer and insurance providers building long lasting relationships.Inbox management responding to enquires from cover holders, clients, and brokers.Working on a caseload of insurance claims keeping the file up to date and customers informed.Take responsibility of the claims from start to completion including, processing, monitoring and negotiate settlement of claims.
Be a pivotal part of the customer journey throughout their insurance claim.Communicate with customers, clients, brokers, solicitors and many more via telephone and email.Investigate all claims, making the decision on liability, ensuring all evidence is gathered and recorded accurately.Assessing the damage to property, determining the cause of loss, and estimating the cost of repairs or replacement.Property Claims Adjuster – Key requirementsUnderstanding of property insurance policy wording.Experience preventing and resolving complaints would be advantageous.Good IT skills with the ability to use bespoke systems and Microsoft.Along with our client, we are committed to a diverse workforce and as such recruit from a wide available pool of talent, with the hiring, assessment and selection process being fair, free from bias and one which ensures the right person is selected for the job, based on merit.
