Join us to build the digital economy of tomorrow.Job DescriptionAbout The RoleProduct PMO (Program Management Office) is a strategic partner for Product and the rest of the organization in orchestrating a framework of cross functional delivery processes and program management whose ultimate goal is the successful enablement of the product roadmap and the overall company’s OKRs.This framework transforms the OKRs into a clear, strategically aligned, focused and effective portfolio of programs, projects and product increments and associated cross functional plans of action that span multiple departments and are focused on delivering incremental and measurable value to Checkout and its customers.This Senior Program Manager role will report into Product PMO and is going to be part of the Card Payments Processing (CPP) leadership team (together with leaders from Product and Engineering), and be responsible for enabling the launch of the cards processing portfolio in alignment with company OKRs. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, delivery and risk management practices, as well as reporting to various levels of leadership. The role is based in our London office.Card Payments Processing is part of our Core Network pillar, which builds connections to payment rails globally. Growing our CPP portfolio and volume is a key driver for Checkout’s continued growth.What You Will Be DoingWe’re looking for a strategic Senior Programme Manager to drive our global expansion and continuously enhance key foundational processes that ensure smooth and timely product delivery. In this role, you will:Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline product delivery through effective stakeholder mapping, intake management, program and product planning, dependency tracking, proactive risk management, and progress monitoring.Establish clear communication cadences to ensure alignment across the organization, driving focused and impactful actions that support both company and departmental OKRs.Transform high-level vision / roadmap / objectives into actionable, cross-functional plans with clear, measurable outcomes using both qualitative and quantitative metrics.Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicting priorities by setting up alignment forums and steering committees, ensuring that critical goals remain on track.Proactively address risks and issues that may impact key milestones by leading the development of mitigation strategies and resolution plans.Collaborate with enablement teams across the business to ensure that all products and services are operationalized and market-ready as quickly as possible.Enhance our governance framework to accelerate time-to-market and optimize product delivery efficiency.Contribute to broader PMO initiatives that have a company-wide impact, helping shape the future of our organization.QualificationsAbout YouYou have at least 5 years of program management or delivery experience within Product led organizations who delivered, ideally, Payments products in multiple regionsYou have hands on experience of leading cross-department projects within fast-growing global organizations, leading projects end-to-end, and ensuring continuous improvementYou have a good understanding of various methodologies of software delivery lifecycle and change management, ideally Agile and SAFeYou drive the teams with clarity, alignment and focus to action the planYou are proactive, autonomous, with the ability to identify issues independently and drive creative solutions in a complex, dependency-heavy environmentYou have the ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling, and succinct way in written and verbal communications, effectively influencing a wide variety of audiencesYou have a natural and authentic ability to engage and work in collaboration with people from various backgrounds and culturesYou are open to travel internationally for specific workshops where and when neededAdditional InformationApply without meeting all requirements statementIf you don’t meet all the requirements but think you might still be right for the role, please apply anyway.
