DESCRIPTIONAn opportunity to join a growing Privacy & Regulatory team, this role will play a critical role as we continue to innovate and grow our ads business. Amazon Privacy is seeking a Privacy & Regulatory Specialist to support key, global regulatory compliance initiatives. Candidates should have a broad understanding of privacy, consumer protection and online services regulation and an ability to focus on consumer sentiment and customer experience.Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
In this role, focused on and driving and enhancing our privacy and regulatory program, you will partner with stakeholders across Amazon, acting as a thought leader for in-scope regulations and related compliance programs who conceives and advocates for our overall compliance strategy. You will work independently with the ability to prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple, simultaneous programs.About the teamPart of Amazon Ads Customer Trust, the Ads Privacy & Regulatory team consists of dedicated privacy and regulatory specialists with expertise in digital advertising. The team is focused on raising the privacy and regulatory compliance bar on our advertising products and services, driving a superior customer experience, and ensuring we protect customer trust.About the team
Our team drives the compliance strategy, implementation and program mechanisms required for Amazon to comply with obligations that protect customer personal or sensitive data, and span most or all of the company.
