Our team is made up of a diverse range of pricing, data science and analytics experts with experience from multiple industries.A career in Pricing at Hastings will be varied! It’s essential for us to find new ideas and perspectives and that enables us to drive change – a real advantage of a career with us is that you will own and oversee projects from inception to launch.You’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:

  • Managing and developing a strong team of Pricing Governance Analysts and/or Senior Pricing Governance Analysts.
  • Leading Risk Management within Pricing, including appropriate oversight for BAU and change activity. Ensuring risks are identified and assessed ensuring the appropriate level of oversight, documenting the required controls, ensuring Pricing staff at all levels are able to identify risks in their daily roles and help create a good risk and governance culture.
  • Owning Fair Value Assessments and Regulatory Requirements, ensuring they are completed to a high standard and on a timely basis.
  • Reviewing ad hoc data analysis to provide an understanding of risks faced and drive the closure of Risk events and other Governance related queries.
  • Built strong relationships with departments outside pricing and other key stakeholders engaged in working with Pricing, ensuring that risk events and projects are completed smoothly and in a timely manner.

Essential skills we would love you to have:

  • You are a strong communicator, and enjoy articulating problems concisely to key stakeholders at various levels.
  • You have strong numerical skills to understand Pricing impacts and outcomes, and the ability to find creative solutions to support the business in the effective management of Risks and issues.
  • You have a proactive mindset and ability to use initiative to identify and investigate areas of concern.
  • You have a great understanding of various regulators’ expectations and industry trends
