Wood is recruiting for an Intermediate/Senior Piping Designer to join its Oil & Gas Canada business unit. This opportunity is hybrid and is based in Calgary, AB.#LI-HybridThis role is responsible for developing piping design solutions within an EPC environment. The candidate will create and review 3D models, layouts, and technical drawings for complex Oil & Gas projects while ensuring adherence to industry codes and standards.Our Clients and Projects

• Communicate with clients and collaborate with project teams
• Create and develop 3D models using various modeling software
• Produce moderate to complex layouts of areas and modules
• Model large equipment for piping design
• Review and comment on vendor information
• Adhere to industry codes and standards in all design activities

• Engineering design and drafting technology diploma or related technical diploma/certificate
• 10+ years of experience in piping design and layout in an EPC environment
• Extensive experience with industry codes and standard practices in the Oil & Gas sector
• Excellent knowledge of design software used in piping design
• Prior project experience in Upstream Oil Sands is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
