OverviewAre you ready to advance your career with an outstanding team? Buck is seeking ambitious and highly skilled Senior Pensions Administrators to join our rapidly growing Pensions Outsourcing Practice. This role offers extraordinary flexibility, with opportunities to work remotely or from our regional offices in Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, or Ipswich.
How you’ll make an impact
- Complex Pension Management: Coordinate a combination of DB, DC, and Hybrid pension schemes to the highest standards and within deadlines.
- Client Engagement: Participate in Trustee meetings and new business presentations, ensuring our clients’ needs are met perfectly.
- Payroll Management: Coordinate pensioner payrolls and pension increases, ensuring timely notifications of the lifetime allowance used.
- Investment Management: Supervise the investment of contributions, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
- Supervision and Support: Supervise up to two trainee/junior pensions administrators and provide support to the Principal Pension Administrator.
- Compliance and Quality: Adhere closely to procedures and standards, ensuring all work is carried out accurately and in compliance with company policies.
- Financial Management: Supervise transactional activity and provide regular financial information to the billing manager to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
About You
- Occupational Pension Schemes: Validated experience in working with DB, DC, CARE, and Hybrid schemes.
- Qualifications: Ideally QPA or PMI qualified, or willing to study towards relevant qualifications.
- Complex Calculations: Demonstrated experience in performing complex manual pension calculations.
- Data Management: Ability to collect, process, and input data with precision and attention to detail.
- Time Management: Outstanding ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and adhere to disclosure requirements.
- IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
- Professional Standards: Good understanding of professional ethics and standards, such as those outlined by the PMI or equivalent experience.
