About The RoleFixed Term Contract: ending 7th November 2025We’re looking for experienced marketeer to lead our busy and thriving Events Marketing team. This role will oversee the management of high-profile, high-value, multi-channel marketing campaigns, aimed at maximising the recruitment of supporters and income.You’ll report to the Head of Events, and be part of the Events leadership team, manage two line reports, and a team of five. The Events Marketing team is in the Events team, and sits in the wider Income and Engagement directorate. The Events Marketing team is responsible for recruiting participants for a range of sports events, as well as involvement in retention strategies to cross-sell our supporters into other fundraising products.You will:
- Own and develop the relationship with key agency partners, for Events Marketing.
- Oversee the briefing and management of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Work with the Fundraising Marketing team, and media agency to devise a plan for additional promotion of third party events.
- Brief our internal creative teams or agencies to produce outstanding creative, including leading the projects to progress the ‘Feel it all’ event creative identity
- Lead on the budgeting, rephasing and management of a £5 million pound marketing expenditure budget.
- Work with the Participant Experience team to translate the Feel it all review recommendations into a plan for stewardship rollout
- Develop a roadmap with Digital Fundraising for the rollout of new events templates into third party events.
- Be part of the Events leadership team, drive event team strategy and supporting peers and contributing thoughts and ideas to improve what we do.
- Build strong cross team relationships with stakeholders within the wider Income and Engagement directorate.
- Be an inspiring leader, with a caring and motivating approach.
About youYou’ll need to be enthusiastic, creative, and highly-organised with the ability to manage complex, and at times, conflicting projects and priorities. You’ll be a great communicator and able to easily form strong relationships. You’ll have a keen eye for detail yet be able to also think strategically. You will be used to working collaboratively and be able to prioritise your workload effectively and remain solution-focussed. You will be experienced in developing outstanding multi-channel marketing plans utilising data and insight to inform your decisions. We are looking for someone who is driven and passionate and will work to maximise our income to increase the impact we have on the lives of people affected by dementia.Closing Date Friday 16th 2025
