Job Summary:
Our Digital Technology (Digital) organization ensures that RTX teams across the globe can communicate, collaborate, and innovate for customer success. As a Raytheon Digital Technology Program Digital Services (PDS) Systems Administration Manager, you will collaborate and partner with a diverse cross-section of Digital, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Program Leadership partners, in support of the Naval Power (NP) Strategic Business Unit.
In this role the leader will be responsible for leading a team consisting of approximately (19) nineteen system administrators to enable program execution across multiple security domains. The leader will establish a vision, set direction, develop, and motivate high-performing technical professionals to deliver business value and results. The leader will partner across Digital and other RTX functions to drive new technology insertion, sustainment direction, and support programs through the entire lifecycle. The leader will have the responsibility for all aspects of people management including hiring, staff development, training, and performance appraisals.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and lead a high-performing team aligned with our Raytheon vision, strategy, values, and behaviors.
- Partner closely with peer groups to enable flawless Digital service delivery, and technology insertion / evolution.
- Assign and monitor projects and tasks.
- Manage and record employee performance.
- Create and submit periodic status reports and accomplishments to the next level of leadership.
- Administer time reporting, training, recruiting, orientation, and onboarding of new employees.
- Manage annual operating plan (AOP) for the team’s Digital Technology scope.
- Experience with workforce planning and resource management.
- Up to 15% travel
- 100% on site
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience, or advanced degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Must have active a transferable U.S. government issued top secret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with IT System Administration
- Experience managing, supervising, or leading a team.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of DFARs, CMMC, RMF, DAAPM, and JSIG requirements and controls.
- Applicants with non-STEM degrees will be considered if the individuals have relevant technical and leadership experience.
- Experience in MS Windows and Linux OS Operating environments.
- Experience with workforce planning and resource management highly valued.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in Cybersecurity
- Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a business case for investment to senior management and executive audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to partner engagements with program stakeholders, external DoD customers, and overall relationship excellence.
- Technical Acumen – Possess a foundational understanding of the technologies within the Digital space, and keen knowledge of at least one functional partner (Engineering, Operations) area working practices. Experience in leading the delivery of technical capability (SW/HW Dev, Digital Operations, etc.) within a program environment.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, with ability to influence and drive change.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex issues, develop effective solutions, and drive to timely resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage conflicting tasks and initiatives.
- Experience managing teams in an Agile / DevSecOps environment.
- Experience with cyber and compliance hardening, process controls, and risk management
- Curiosity, problem solving, desire to learn new skills.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD – 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
