Senior Information Assurance Engineer

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Senior Information Assurance Engineer to support our client’s SA&A contract needs. This position will be a fully remote position.

 

 

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to remediate system vulnerabilities and close identified Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
• Lead efforts to Update security documentation for BIES systems needed to obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO)
• Lead efforts to work with project teams to collect evidence and remediate findings
• Lead efforts to work with Information Assurance Engineers to access system security posture and remediate vulnerabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s with 8+ years of information assurance experience (or commensurate experience)
• 5+ years of experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
• IA baseline certification required
• Expert proficiency with assessing, documenting, and remediating cyber security vulnerabilities
• Clearance required: An active Top Secret clearance with ability to maintain a SCI clearance

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 – USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
