Bramshaw Ward are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team. We are a gynaecology ward, supporting a multitude of patients with varying presentations – from gynaecology, gynae-oncology and breast (post-operatively and pre-operatively), and early pregnancy.We are a fast-paced 18-bedded ward, offering a 24-hour service, which includes an assessment room for emergency admissions out of hours. We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant with a keen interest in Women’s Health.The successful candidate will be expected to:o Provide a clean, welcoming environment for patients and relatives.o Assess patients health care needs and complete all required documentation.o Ensure patients requirements are met with dignity, compassion and empathy.o Be non-judgemental in your approach to patient care and attitudes.o Ensure any concerns are reported to the nurse in charge in a timely manner.Main duties of the jobAttached you will find the person specification document which provides more detail about the essential and desirable skills and experience needed for this role.
