As the company grows, the finance team is looking for additional support to maintain the highest standards of financial reporting and analysis.We are currently searching for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Controller with month-end accounting, financial performance reporting, and forecasting. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Ottawa, Ontario. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, maintaining fixed asset schedules, and assisting with acquisitions. You will also be responsible for preparing journal entries, supporting intercompany transactions, and ensuring compliance with best practices and internal controls.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and be a CPA (or actively working towards it). You should bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting and/or industry. Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IF functions) will be critical to success in this role. Our client is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple deadlines, and takes initiative when tackling complex financial tasks.What will make you stand out:

• CPA designated
• Experience with ASPE and US GAAP financial reporting
• Public accounting experience; experience working with multi-entity companies
• Ability to build strong relationships across departments.
• Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
