Job description

A large UK Transport business have reached out for support in hiring a new Senior Finance Manager.This role will sit within commercial Finance, and will involve partnering with key stakeholders.Responsibilities:

• Own, operate and improve the long-term business forecasting model
• Lead the short and long-term business planning, annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.
• Produce key financial reporting and insights from the monthly financial accounts
• Analyse the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as revenue, expenditure, overheads and group profit margins.
• Work closely with the Group Financial Controller and the management accountants / business partners to provide relevant insights to operational teams.
• Report on and challenge the cause of any unexpected variances to the wider business.
• Manage and enhance the regular flash reporting to the wider business and provide insight

Requirements:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
• Strong financial modelling skills with demonstrable experience for the role
• Commercial Finance experience in a similar industry

Expected salary

£70000 – 80000 per year
