Senior Estimator – Construction
Location: Lower Mainland, BC (Remote-Based Role)

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications in detail
  • Develop accurate, competitive cost estimates across all scopes of work
  • Prepare RFIs and flag contractual concerns for review
  • Select subcontractors and vendors; issue clear scopes and RFQs
  • Perform quantity take-offs and explore value engineering solutions
  • Work with manufacturer pricing tools and estimating software
  • Organize and present final proposal packages for internal and client review
  • Maintain estimating documentation and a reliable cost history database
  • Collaborate with project teams to support handoff and execution
  • Build and maintain strong trade and vendor relationships

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating
  • Candidates with 8–10+ years of experience are strongly encouraged to apply, especially those with leadership potential
  • General contracting experience is essential
  • Strong knowledge across civil, concrete, mechanical, and electrical scopes
  • Familiarity with steel buildings and/or tilt-up concrete projects is an asset
  • Proficiency in estimating tools and CAD platforms preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Must be based in the Lower Mainland, BC and available for occasional in-person collaboration in Surrey
