Job DescriptionJob ID#:4523Job Category:Information TechnologyWe are seeking an experienced Senior EDI Implementation Specialist to join our client’s team and play a key role in managing EDI integrations, system mapping, and trading partner relationships. This position will work closely with the EDI Manager to develop, test, maintain, and enhance EDI interfaces, ensuring seamless transactions and high performance.Responsibilities of the Senior EDI Implementation Specialist will include:

• Lead the setup, maintenance, and optimization of EDI systems and processes
• Ensure smooth trading partner integrations by providing clear communication and timely support
• Troubleshoot EDI transaction issues, re-transmit transactions, and resolve system errors
• Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains
• Collaborate with internal and external EDI teams to enhance system functionality
• Monitor and improve trading partner scorecards through process improvements and training
• Develop and maintain comprehensive EDI documentation
• Identify and implement opportunities to expand electronic business transactions with both new and existing partners
• Work closely with IT teams and business users across domestic and international locations

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Senior EDI Implementation Specialist:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5-7+ years of experience in EDI integration and transactional processes, preferably in consumer products manufacturing or distribution
• Advanced knowledge of EDI standards and system mapping
• Experience working with major retailers and retailer portals
• Strong database knowledge (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
• Ability to document and communicate technical processes
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused with strong communication abilities
• Highly self-motivated with a passion for learning and improvement
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to problem-solving
• Team-oriented with experience collaborating across multiple office locations
