About the role:Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create must-have research, make market predictions and identify best practices for a broad range of world-leading organizations. A Senior Director serves as a leader within Gartner’s Research and Advisory sector, establishing oneself as a credible voice within their designated domain at local, regional and global levels. Utilizing exceptional research and analytical skills, a Senior Director plays a key role in producing thought leading research which Gartner clients consume and apply to propel their business toward key objectives. Analysts are a trusted source of advice for clients, reinforcing Gartner’s value every day by engaging them via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, sales support visits and Gartner conferences to discuss complex client challenges and offer appropriate recommendations.What you will do:
We are searching for a candidate whose background includes both software engineering and product management at both vendors and/or end-user organizations. We are looking for deep experience in Cloud Native development and Cloud Migration. Knowledge and experience with leading cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP is essential, while a solid background in related technologies including containers (e.g. Docker), container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes), serverless platforms, APIs, microservices, and service mesh is highly valuable.What you will need:
