Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other departments to create integrated software release plans and schedules.
- Assess, design, and implement automation tools to boost efficiency in development and operations.
- Monitor and analyze software performance, ensuring quick resolution of any technical issues.
- Continuously improve tooling, infrastructure, and practices to maintain a cutting-edge and highly reliable system.
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends to ensure the company’s tech stack remains current.
- Establish, maintain, and update documentation on software processes, tools, and systems.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team.
- Ensure smooth communication between development and operations teams, breaking down silos and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
- Support team members with mentorship, feedback, and resources to help them reach their full potential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- More than 3 years of experience in managing and guiding a team of IT professionals in implementing DevOps practices.
- More than 3 years’ experience as a Team Leader/Manager (leadership experience-20% of time will be HR team activity)
- At least 6 years of experience managing production-grade robust, scalable cloud-based solutions
- More than 3 years of strong experience with Cloud architecture skills
- More than 3 years of proven experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- More than 3 years of experience with CI/CD tools
- More than 3 years of experience with containerized environments and microservices.
- More than 3 years of proven experience in managing production environment at scale in a cloud environment.
- More than 3 years of experience with programming and scripting languages (Python, NodeJS)
- Fast learner, passionate about using new technologies, and a people person;
Ability to participate in off-hours production incidents and provide solutions to critical issues that arise.Nice to Have:
- General Knowledge/Experience with GCP.
- Knowledge Apigee and DialogFlow.
- Can skillfully identify the main and secondary tasks
- Knowledge with CCAI and CCAIP experience
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
