What you will be doing

Use quantitative and statistical methods to explore data and extract actionable insights from our payment data. Leverage machine learning, statistical modelling, and quantitative analysis to create intelligent, data-driven products

• You analyse and extract actionable insights from internal and external data
• You employ machine learning and statistical modelling to create and enhance data driven products
• You develop intelligent payment products and continuously integrate and deploy into microservice-based product platform
• You work with a variety of data science tools and programming languages
• You work independently and collaborate with other stakeholders to build product prototype and solve complex business problems

What you bring:

• Proficient in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL
• Strong analytics and knowledge in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modelling, data visualization, and data analysis
• Proficiency in solutions design and requirements
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
• Delivery-oriented team player who takes responsibility for the team’s success and strives to continually learn and improve

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience of cloud-based technology such as Databrick and AWS
• Knowledge of financial services industry especially payment processing
• Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Masters with 3 years of data science experience or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $136,190.00 – $228,790.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary

range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
