About the role:
As a Payroll Specialist within our Managed Services Bureau, you will be responsible for running multiple payrolls for our clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will also play a key role in optimising payroll processes and contributing to the setup and development of our Managed Services Bureau.This is an FTC position, initially until the end of September 2025Experience in a Managed Services or Bureau environmentDemonstrable UK payroll experience in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC regulations, and statutory payments.Experience handling high-volume payroll processing with accuracy and efficiency.Proven ability to optimize payroll processes and drive improvements.Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify payroll discrepancies and anomalies.Excellent communication skills to explain complex payroll matters clearly to clients and internal teams.Experience using payroll software (bonus points for HiBob Payroll, Sage, Xero, or other cloud-based solutions).Advantages:Experience in Saas technology along with PayrollPrevious experience working with global teamsPrevious experience with Enterprise CustomersExperience onboarding customers into a new managed service/ outsource functionExperience using tools such as; Zendesk, Slack, & AsanaExperience working with APIs and integrationsServe as the primary contact for payroll processing and issue resolution within the Managed Services Bureau.Ensure payroll accuracy through thorough reviews and compliance with statutory requirements.Handle high-volume payrolls, maintaining efficiency and quality under tight deadlines.Proactively identify process improvements to enhance the bureau’s payroll service delivery.Support new client onboarding, ensuring data accuracy for retrospective and parallel runs.Assist in training and mentoring junior payroll team members.Effectively escalate complex issues while maintaining clear communication with clients.HiBob is a village filled with amazing people and we’re especially proud of that.
