The Senior Commercial Analyst will support the delivery of the Supply strategy and deliverables through insightful, impactful analysis to improve our commercial position with our supplier partners. Supporting strategy, platform prioritisation, decision-making & negotiations.Your day-to-day:This a varied role, with flexibility required:Support the implementation and refinement of the Supply strategy through insightful analysis, business cases and recommendations, including new product and inventory launchesProduce analysis and recommendations which guide our decision-making and negotiations with current and future supplier partnersActively seek out opportunities to improve our commercial positionPrepare material to convey key decisions, messages and achievements to the team and the wider businessImprove our levels of reporting and visualisation of analysis, with some day-to-day reporting responsibilities requiredMonitor and improve team processes (from data to decisions to action)Comfortable working with data analysts and finance teams (and associated data)Facilitate the team through quarterly planning and OKRsYour skillset:Strong analytical skills, with ability to conduct and create complex analyses and business casesAbility to distil complex analyses down to easy-to-understand summaries and recommendations, telling a story using data and insightStrong reporting and data visualisation skills; highly proficient in Looker (or a similar tool, with wilingness to adopt Looker)Able to evaluate data and metrics to spot red flags and opportunitiesGood commercial acumenProactive, inquisitive, with drive, flexibility, tact and perseveranceDesirableKnowledge and understanding of the travel sectorExperience in a strategy roleThe interview journey:Talent Acquisition Partner screening – 30 mins1st stage with Hiring Manager – 45 minsFinal stage with key stakeholders including a task to present, followed by team chemistry meetings – 2 hoursAt loveholidays, we’re on a mission to open the world to everyone, giving our customers’ unlimited choice, unmatched ease and unmissable value for their next getaway.
