This is a pivotal role for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is passionate about building efficient, scalable, and secure solutions.As a key member of the engineering team, you will drive the development and optimization of automation processes, collaborate across departments, and help shape the future of how we deliver streamlined IT services.Responsibilities of the Senior Automation Engineer will include:

• Architect and implement robust automation and integration strategies to unify systems and drive operational efficiency.
• Design, script, and maintain automated processes using tools such as PowerShell, Python, and platforms like Rewst.
• Continuously assess performance of automation tools and integrations, implementing improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.
• Analyze, resolve, and document issues related to system automation and integration, including root cause analysis and long-term resolutions.
• Produce thorough documentation of all workflows, system configurations, and technical procedures to ensure transparency and consistency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including security, engineering, and project managers—to ensure all automation aligns with strategic IT goals and security standards.
• Provide technical leadership, sharing knowledge and best practices with junior team members to foster growth and continuous improvement.
• Stay informed of new technologies and automation trends, proposing forward-thinking enhancements to improve service delivery.

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Senior Automation Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum of 5 years in IT systems automation and integration, with at least 2 years in a senior or technical lead capacity.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) with hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation workflows.
• Strong technical knowledge of APIs, SQL, and data migration/ETL processes.
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem resolution.
• Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or consulting environment.
• Familiarity with identity management, Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and OAuth.
• Experience working with automation platforms and orchestration tools.
