As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling cross-functional teams to make better decisions by building trusted datasets and modernizing data infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with departments across the business to architect solutions that empower them with real-time, actionable insights.Accountabilities:

• Design and build performant, reusable data models that scale analytics across the organization
• Lead the development of SQL transformations, governance frameworks, and best practices for dbt pipelines
• Own data quality and observability, proactively identifying and resolving data issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders from various teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored data solutions
• Champion engineering best practices within the analytics pipeline, including testing, version control, and documentation
• Maintain and evolve data infrastructure using tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Terraform, and observability platforms

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Analytics or Data Engineering, with at least 2 years focused on Analytics Engineering
• Advanced SQL skills and knowledge of database performance optimization
• Proficiency managing dbt projects with a focus on testing, documentation, and reusability
• Strong experience with Git, data observability tools (e.g., Metaplane), and cloud-based data infrastructure
• Familiarity with tools like Hex, S3, AWS, and the use of AI assistants to enhance productivity
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Preferred: Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business and hands-on experience with the specified data stack
