SummaryThe primary purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise in integrating all security disciplines into program security efforts to mitigate risks of compromise, unauthorized disclosure or damage to weapon systems, program/system information, and its components. QualificationsFor additional information on direct hire opportunities with the Air Force please click .Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Expert in program protection, system security, technology assessment and control, foreign military sales, information, industrial, personnel, and operations security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement security programs in these areas.
2. Expert ability in developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the Center Commander.
3. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately.
4. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
5. Knowledge of government contractual practices and requirements for development and purchase of USAF acquisition programs and/or supporting programs/projects. Must be familiar with Defense Industrial Base security organization, operations, and management practices.EducationThis job does not have an education qualification requirement.
