An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Primary & Community Services admin team as a Secretary/Receptionist for an enthusiastic and motivated individual providing admin support to community teams and clinicians on the Health Board Reception within Health Centre (not at the GP Practice) also admin support the Treatment Rooms with appointment bookings. You will be the first point of contact for the Public, addressing their queries and responding in a professional manner. You may be asked to travel across the Borders may be required therefore a full, clean driving licence and car is desirable..Current shift pattern, although there may be some flexibility with jobshare colleague:
- Mon 12:00 – 16:00 / 0
- Tue DO
- Wed 08:30 – 16:30 / 30
- Thu 08:30 – 12:30 / 0
- Fri DO

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you would be paid, until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
