We are seeking to hire a Scientist professional to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Livingston, UKResponsible for performing a variety of technical procedures and experimental execution in support of sample analysis and validation. Responsible for root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and supporting process improvements.What you’ll be doing:

• Conducts analytical procedures adhering to company protocols and regulatory standards.
• Assists in troubleshooting and enhancing processes for improved data quality, cost reduction, and quicker turnaround times.
• Acts as a technical support for laboratory staff and assumes leadership in the absence of the manager.
• Analyzes data routinely to ensure adherence to expectations and escalates anomalies to senior personnel.
• Prepares and uploads data analysis results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Contributes to investigations, deviations, and resolutions as part of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) protocols.
• Maintains clear, accurate, and timely communication with stakeholders.
• Supports safety, quality, and 6S standards while complying with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

• Educational Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in biology or chemistry.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Sound knowledge of laboratory techniques, complex testing procedures, and scientific principles.
• Skills and Attributes: Proficient in laboratory calculations, troubleshooting equipment, computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), organizational, interpersonal, communication, and multitasking abilities, along with attention to detail and ability to establish effective working relationships.
